Listen- Watch and Tell a Story about Europe

Grantee: Narrations, Urban Non-Profit Company "Adrachti"
Call: Enhancing awareness & understanding of EU rights and values
Project Duration: 12 months
Budget: 29.467,09€
Country: Greece
Location: Ioannina

The project aims to reinforce the fundamental values and rights integral to the European acquis—such as human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law, and respect for human rights—among the student population residing in remote and inaccessible areas of the Ioannina regional unit. Through thematic narratives, experiential storytelling, creative writing, and audiovisual materials, the educational initiative seeks to empower pupils in schools located in these challenging terrains. The goal is not only to enhance their awareness and understanding of the Union’s rights and values but also to engage them in crafting new narratives about the European Union and its potential significance in their lives.

Target Groups:

Children aged 6 to 12, students of remote and mountainous primary schools in the Ioannina Prefecture, primary education teachers, and the broader community of civil society.
