The PHAROS project aims to offer concrete information and guidance on pathways to support and protection to victims/survivors of GBV facilitating access to justice in Cyprus. The informational platform that will be developed will serve as a digital first point of contact and resource directory for victims, safeguarding women’s rights in the context of GBV, allowing them to seek and obtain support, protection, and legal remedies towards safety and freedom from revictimization. Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies (MIGS) will undertake the mapping of existing formal and informal resources/information (online/offline) for victims of Violence Against Women(VAW)/Domestic Violence(DV), hold regular stakeholder meetings and raise awareness for the informational platform both through traditional and social media.
Target Groups:
The project is primarily addressed to victims and survivors of GBV/DV, as well as to various policymakers and frontline professionals who can provide additional guidance to women by referring them to support, protection, and justice services through their daily practice.
