The project focuses on primary prevention of violence against children by fostering positive attitudes and behaviors in early childhood. It uses storytelling as a tool for social and emotional learning to promote understanding, respect, and peaceful conflict resolution among children, parents, and educators. Key activities include creating group stories illustrated by children, developing podcasts featuring parents and professionals, and training educators in narrative techniques to prevent abusive behaviors.
Target groups:
The target groups include children aged 5–12 from Piraeus, Athens, and Kavala, parents and other stakeholders, educators and professionals working with children, and representatives from local and national organizations. The project aims to empower children and equip adults with tools to support non-violent interactions, creating a community-oriented approach to prevent violence and promote positive social development.
