Thematic: Preventing and Combating Gender-Based Violence
Project Duration: 12 months
Budget: 59,999.72€
Country: Greece
Location: Attica and Achaea

The project aims to combat gender-based violence (GBV) through a survivor-led approach, focusing on migrant and refugee women in Greece who face compounded marginalization. The initiative establishes holistic support services in Athens and enhances local GBV response systems in Patras. The project promotes healing, empowerment, and community resilience through targeted training for professionals, hands-on workshops, and advocacy.

Target groups:

The project targets migrant and refugee women at high risk of GBV, survivors requiring urgent support, and professionals working to combat GBV in Patras and surrounding areas. It also engages community representatives from migrant networks and informal groups. By providing tailored training, advocacy, and empowerment opportunities, the initiative builds local capacity to support survivors and enhances collective efforts to address GBV.
