The project focuses on examining attitudes and perceptions within Roma communities regarding early marriages and teenage pregnancies. Through qualitative and quantitative research, it aims to understand these phenomena and formulate tailored methodologies to raise awareness and protect children’s rights. Activities include focus groups, community surveys, and the development of policy recommendations to promote effective interventions. By addressing these challenges, the project seeks to foster understanding and initiate changes that uphold the rights and well-being of Roma children.
Target groups:
The target groups include Roma women and Roma men, local Roma communities, policymakers in health and social policy, academic institutions, European public health organizations, media representatives, and the general public. The project emphasizes engaging these groups to generate actionable insights, raise awareness, and advocate for the prevention of early marriages and teenage pregnancies, ensuring better opportunities for Roma children.
