The project focuses on equipping healthcare professionals (HCPs) with the skills and resources to identify, manage, and support gender-based violence (GBV) victims, while facilitating their referral to specialized services. The initiative includes tailored training programs, networking with relevant organizations, and resource development. By targeting young HCPs in primary care and emergency departments, the project aims to create a supportive network and enhance the response to GBV as a critical public health issue.
Target Groups:
The project targets two primary groups, students and young healthcare professionals working in primary care and hospital emergency departments, and the general population, indirectly benefiting from improved healthcare practices. Through capacity-building and networking, the initiative aims to foster a comprehensive approach to supporting GBV victims and promoting awareness among healthcare providers.
