Laboratory equipment

Aim of the Department is to educate and train young scientists at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level on issues related to biochemistry and biotechnology. Furthermore, an integral part of its activities is to conduct research in the fields of Biochemistry, Biology and Genetics, develop new expertise in the design and synthesis of new compounds with applications in health, and biotechnology, and to provide service and transfer of expertise in public research and technology centers, academic institutions, industries of the country and abroad.
