Foundation of Thracian art and Tradition

The Foundation is a non-governmental and non-profit organization active in the field of culture and education. It was founded in 1998 at the initiative of the late  Virginia Tsouderou with the aim of widening the cultural capital of the region, while developing infrastructure and human resources. In the course of its operation, it has become a model of a cultural entity by exploiting, exemplary restoration and management of preserved monuments of historical and aesthetic interest of the industrial heritage. The aim of the actions is to promote cultural memory, the creative expression of imagination, the development of critical and reflective thinking, the dissemination of local traditions and culture throughout Thrace, the strengthening of social cohesion and the creation of cultural capital for the area.
